Projected Image of the Year Competition Rules:-  Is now combined with the Urquhart Trophy for Creativity Competition since the winners are selected from the same entry.  The winners of these competitions are awarded trophies. The Competitions for year 2009/10 were judged by Al Buntin of Dundee.

  1. Up to a maximum of three projected images may be entered.   There is an example of how to prepare your digital images in the General Rules Page.

  2. Entries must have been entered in a Club competition during the current Club year.

  3. A trophy will be awarded to the winner.

    The Urquhart Trophy for Creativity Rules. :-  This will be awarded to the author of the Most Creative Projected Image.

  1. A maximum entry of 2 digital images may be submitted.

  2. Entries need not have been entered in any club competition during the club year.

  3. The competition will be judged on the same date as the Projected Image of the Year.

 

The George Esson Trophy for Photographer of The Year Rules. :-

 

Will be awarded to the Member who has scored the highest number of points across all Club competitions in the Club year. Points will be calculated as follows:-

1st Place = 3 points, 2nd Place= 2 points, 3rd Place = 1 point. In the event of a tie at any position, all entrants will receive the same award of points.

Only Final League results, not individual rounds, will be included with other competition results in the final calculation.

 

The Competition for Slide of The Year and The Urquhart Trophy for Creativity in 2009/10 was judged by Al Buntin of Dundee. His winning selections are displayed below.
